A Sacred Journey Through the Jain Heritage of Western Rajasthan

Explore centuries of Jain faith and craftsmanship through Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur, the historic pilgrimage centres of Lodurva and Amar Sagar, and the revered Nakoda Parshwanath Tirth and the Ranakpur Jain Temple.


Day 1

Jaisalmer: Arrival & Sightseeing

Arrive in Jaisalmer and meet our representative for your transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some time to refresh, begin exploring the Golden City.

Visit Patwon Ki Haveli and admire its elaborate sandstone façades, carved balconies and merchant-era architecture. Continue to Nathmal Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, each displaying a distinctive style of craftsmanship.

Later, visit Gadisar Lake and enjoy its peaceful ghats, carved gateways, temples and evening reflections across the water.

Day 2

Jaisalmer: Temple Tour

Begin the morning inside Jaisalmer Fort, where a closely connected group of historic Jain temples reflects centuries of faith, learning and craftsmanship.

Visit the temples dedicated to Chandraprabhu, Rishabhnath, Shitalnath, Sambhavnath, Parshvanath, Shantinath and Kunthunath. Spend time admiring their carved pillars, ornamental ceilings, sculpted doorways and peaceful prayer halls.Subject to timings and access, visit the Gyan Bhandar, associated with Jaisalmer’s Jain manuscript and scholarly traditions.

Later, drive to Lodurva Parshvanath Jain Temple, known for its elegant toranas, detailed stonework and tranquil setting. Continue to Amar Sagar Jain Temple, situated beside the historic reservoir and surrounded by golden sandstone architecture.

By late afternoon, proceed to Sam Sand Dunes and check in at the desert camp. Enjoy a camel safari during sunset, followed by Rajasthani folk music, traditional dance and dinner at the camp.

Day 3

Jaisalmer - Nakoda - Jodhpur

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the journey towards Nakoda through the desert landscapes of western Rajasthan.

Visit Shree Nakoda Parshwanath Tirth and seek darshan of Mulnayak Bhagwan Parshwanath. Spend time at the revered Nakoda Bhairav shrine and visit the associated temples within the pilgrimage complex, subject to temple timings.

After completing the darshan, continue towards Jodhpur. Arrive in the Blue City by evening, check in at the hotel and rest after the journey.

Day 4

Jodhpur: Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin the day at Mehrangarh Fort, rising dramatically above the city. Explore its grand gateways, palace chambers, courtyards, museum galleries and viewpoints overlooking Jodhpur’s blue-painted neighbourhoods.

Continue to Jaswant Thada, an elegant marble memorial surrounded by gardens. Later, visit Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum and learn about Jodhpur’s more recent royal history.

Spend the evening walking through the Blue City, visit Toorji Ka Jhalra and explore the lively Clock Tower and Sardar Market area at a relaxed pace.

Day 5

Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and travel towards Ranakpur through the scenic valleys and foothills of the Aravalli Hills.

Visit Ranakpur Jain Temple, one of Rajasthan’s most celebrated Jain pilgrimage centres. Walk through its expansive marble halls and admire the intricately carved pillars, ceilings, domes and sculpted details throughout the complex.

Spend sufficient time for darshan and quiet reflection before continuing towards Udaipur. Arrive in the City of Lakes by evening, check in at the hotel and relax.

Day 6

Udaipur: Local Sightseeing

Begin the day at City Palace, an extensive royal complex overlooking Lake Pichola. Explore its courtyards, decorated chambers, galleries and balconies while enjoying views across the old city and surrounding hills.

Continue to Jagdish Temple before visiting Saheliyon Ki Bari, known for its fountains, lotus pools and marble pavilions. Later, spend some time beside Fateh Sagar Lake.

Drive to Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace and enjoy panoramic views of Udaipur’s lakes, forests and Aravalli landscape. In the evening, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola, subject to availability and operating conditions.

Day 7

Udaipur: Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out according to your departure schedule.

Depending on the available time, explore a local market for miniature paintings, textiles, handicrafts and traditional souvenirs, or enjoy a final lakeside walk.

You will then be transferred to Udaipur Airport or railway station for your onward journey.
