Day 1
Jaisalmer: Arrival & Sightseeing
Arrive in Jaisalmer and meet our representative for your transfer to the hotel. Once the family has settled in, step out to explore a city that often feels like it has been built from gold.
Begin inside Jaisalmer Fort, where narrow lanes lead past homes, temples, craft shops and viewpoints. Children can enjoy spotting carved balconies and colourful doorways while adults take in the fort’s living heritage. Visit the Jain Temples and continue to Patwon Ki Haveli, whose detailed stonework offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives of wealthy trading families.
Finish the evening at Gadisar Lake with a relaxed walk around the ghats and sandstone gateways.

Day 2
Jaisalmer: Desert Experience
After breakfast, check out and begin a countryside trail towards the dunes.
Stop at Bada Bagh, where rows of royal cenotaphs stand above the desert plain. Continue to Amar Sagar and explore the historic reservoir, temple surroundings and sandstone architecture.
The next stop is Kuldhara, where the deserted streets and local legends make the visit especially engaging for curious young travellers. Proceed to Khaba Fort for open views across the ruined settlement and surrounding desert.
Reach Sam Sand Dunes by afternoon and check in at the camp. Later, ride over the dunes on camelback and watch the sky change colour at sunset. Return for an evening of folk music, lively dance performances and dinner at the camp.

Day 3
Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Enjoy breakfast at the camp before checking out and beginning the journey to Jodhpur.
The drive offers time to relax together while crossing western Rajasthan’s open landscapes, roadside villages and stretches of desert countryside. On reaching Jodhpur, check in at the hotel and take a break.
Later, head to the Clock Tower area and explore Sardar Market. Families can browse spices, toys, fabrics, bangles, handicrafts and local snacks while experiencing the lively rhythm of the old city.

Day 4
Jodhpur: Local Sightseeing
Begin the day at Mehrangarh Fort, where massive gates, old cannons and palace rooms bring Rajasthan’s royal past to life. Explore the museum galleries and courtyards before pausing at viewpoints overlooking the blue houses below.
Continue to Jaswant Thada, a quieter marble memorial surrounded by gardens. Later, visit Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum to see royal photographs, historic objects and displays connected with Jodhpur’s more recent history.
End the day with an easy walk through the Blue City and a visit to Toorji Ka Jhalra, where the geometric steps make an impressive sight for visitors of all ages.

Day 5
Jodhpur - Udaipur
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the drive towards Udaipur. The route offers two rewarding options, allowing families to choose the experience that best suits their interests and pace.
Visit Ranakpur Jain Temple to explore its vast marble halls, carved ceilings and hundreds of uniquely designed pillars. Its peaceful setting and intricate architecture make it an engaging stop for both adults and younger travellers.
Alternatively, travel via Kumbhalgarh Fort, where massive walls, gateways and hilltop views turn the journey into a memorable family adventure. Children can enjoy the scale of the fortress, while adults take in its history and dramatic Aravalli surroundings.
After the selected visit, continue to Udaipur and check in at the hotel. Keep the evening relaxed after the day’s journey.

Day 6
Udaipur: Local Sightseeing
Begin the day at City Palace, where courtyards, balconies, galleries and royal rooms overlook Lake Pichola. Continue to Jagdish Temple before visiting Saheliyon Ki Bari, a refreshing garden filled with fountains, lotus pools and marble pavilions.
Later, spend time beside Fateh Sagar Lake and then drive to Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace. Set high above Udaipur, the palace offers wide views of the city, lakes and surrounding Aravalli Hills, making it an enjoyable stop for the entire family.
In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, subject to availability and operating conditions, and admire Udaipur’s palaces and ghats from the water.

Day 7
Udaipur - Jaipur
Have breakfast, check out and depart for Jaipur.
Use the journey as a relaxed family travel day, passing through the Aravalli region and rural Rajasthan before reaching the capital. Check in at the hotel and rest.
In the evening, visit a nearby bazaar at an easy pace. Browse block-printed fabrics, puppets, jewellery, handmade décor and colourful souvenirs, or stop for local sweets and snacks.

Day 8
Jaipur: Local Sightseeing
Begin at Amber Fort, where broad courtyards, fortified gateways and palace rooms create a dramatic setting above Maota Lake. Families can explore the fort’s architecture while hearing stories of the rulers who once lived there.
Pause near Jal Mahal for photographs before continuing to City Palace. Next, visit Jantar Mantar, where the enormous astronomical instruments often become one of the most interesting stops for children and teenagers.
See the famous façade of Hawa Mahal and spend some time exploring the markets of the old city. Subject to time, visit Nahargarh Fort for wide views across Jaipur.

Jaipur: Departure
