Day 1

Jodhpur: Arrival & Sightseeing

Arrive at Jaipur Airport or railway station, where our representative will welcome you and arrange your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, begin exploring the ceremonial centre of the Pink City.

Visit City Palace and walk through its courtyards, gateways and galleries, where Rajput and Mughal architectural influences come together. Continue to Jantar Mantar and explore the remarkable astronomical instruments created during the reign of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.

Admire the distinctive façade of Hawa Mahal before entering Jaipur’s old bazaars. Browse jewellery, block-printed fabrics, handicrafts, traditional footwear and colourful souvenirs as the market streets come alive in the evening. City Palace and Jantar Mantar are among Jaipur’s principal heritage landmarks.

Places covered: City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and Jaipur bazaars
Overnight stay: Hotel in Jaipur

Day 2

Jaipur - Ranthambore

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Amber Fort, situated on a hill outside central Jaipur. Explore its fortified gateways, palace courtyards, audience halls and decorated interiors while enjoying views over Maota Lake and the surrounding hills. Rajasthan Tourism describes Amber as an extensive palace complex divided into four main courtyard sections.

Stop near Jal Mahal for photographs before beginning the journey towards Sawai Madhopur. The city traffic gradually gives way to villages, agricultural fields and the drier countryside of eastern Rajasthan.

Arrive at your Ranthambore hotel or wildlife resort by evening. Check in and spend the remaining time relaxing in preparation for the following morning’s safari.

Places covered: Amber Fort and Jal Mahal
Overnight stay: Hotel or wildlife resort in Ranthambore

Day 3

Ranthambore: Wildlife Safari

Leave early for a guided safari inside Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in a designated gypsy or canter, subject to permit confirmation and vehicle availability.

Travel through dry forests, rocky ridges, grasslands and seasonal water bodies while looking for tigers, leopards, sambar deer, spotted deer, wild boar, crocodiles and numerous bird species. Ranthambore is recognised for its wildlife and its setting where the Aravalli and Vindhya ranges meet, though sightings of any particular animal can never be guaranteed.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and rest. Later, visit Ranthambore Fort, which rises above the surrounding forest and has given the reserve its name. Explore its gateways, ruins, viewpoints and temple surroundings while looking across the lakes and woodland below.

Travellers particularly interested in wildlife may choose a second afternoon safari instead of the fort visit, subject to additional permit availability and the confirmed tour plan. Official permits should be secured through the Rajasthan Forest Department’s authorised system.

Places and experiences covered: Ranthambore wildlife safari and Ranthambore Fort
Overnight stay: Hotel or wildlife resort in Ranthambore

Day 4

Ranthambore: Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out before beginning the return drive to Jaipur.

Depending on your departure schedule, you may stop for refreshments along the way or proceed directly to Jaipur Airport or railway station.

You must arrange an evening flight or train wherever possible, allowing adequate time for the road journey and possible traffic delays.

Tour ends: Drop-off in Jaipur
