This four-day family journey blends heritage, outdoor experiences and local history at a comfortable pace. Walk through a living fort, explore deserted villages, ride across the dunes and visit the landmarks of Tanot and Longewala together.
Day 1
Jaisalmer: Arrival & Sightseeing
Arrive in Jaisalmer and meet our representative for your transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some rest, begin discovering the Golden City with a walk through Jaisalmer Fort.
Explore the fort’s narrow lanes, traditional homes, shops and viewpoints before visiting the historic Jain Temples. Continue to Patwon Ki Haveli, where carved balconies, detailed façades and stories of merchant families make the visit interesting for travellers of every age.
Later, spend a relaxed evening at Gadisar Lake. Walk beside the ghats, admire the sandstone gateways and enjoy the calm surroundings before returning to the hotel.

Day 2
Jaisalmer: Desert Experience
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin a family journey through the desert countryside.
Visit Amar Sagar and explore its historic reservoir, temple complex and sandstone architecture. Continue to Kuldhara, where the abandoned streets and legends of the former Paliwal village offer an intriguing experience for children and adults.
Proceed to Khaba Fort and enjoy broad views of the ruined settlement and surrounding desert. By late afternoon, arrive at Sam Sand Dunes and check in at the camp.
Head out for a camel safari as the sun begins to set over the dunes. Return to the camp for Rajasthani folk music, colourful dance performances and dinner.

Day 3
Jaisalmer: Border Tour
After an early breakfast, leave the desert camp for a full-day excursion through the remote border region west of Jaisalmer.
Begin at Tanot Mata Temple, a place closely connected with local faith and India’s military history. Continue to Longewala War Memorial, where exhibits, military displays and accounts of the 1971 battle offer an engaging and educational experience for the family.
On the return journey to Jaisalmer, stop at Bada Bagh. Walk among the royal cenotaphs and take in the open desert views before continuing to the city.
Check in at the hotel and keep the evening free for rest or a short visit to the local market.

Day 4
Jaisalmer: Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. Depending on your departure schedule, spend some time shopping for handicrafts, puppets, textiles and souvenirs, or enjoy a final walk through the nearby streets.
Our driver will transfer your family to Jaisalmer Airport or railway station for the onward journey.
