Your overnight camel safari begins with an afternoon pickup from Jaisalmer and a drive towards a quieter desert region away from the busiest tourist areas. On arrival, meet the camel handlers and begin the journey at a relaxed pace through sandy tracks, open scrubland and gently rising dunes.
As the safari moves deeper into the desert, the surroundings become more peaceful and remote. Along the way, observe traditional rural landscapes, desert vegetation and the changing colours of the Thar. The camel ride continues towards a suitable dune where you can pause for sunset, take photographs and enjoy the stillness of the open desert.
After sunset, proceed to the overnight campsite. A simple traditional setup is arranged with bedding and basic camping facilities. Tea or refreshments are served while dinner is prepared over the campfire. Spend the evening listening to desert stories, enjoying the quiet surroundings and watching the stars appear across the clear night sky.
Wake early to experience sunrise in the desert, followed by tea and breakfast at the campsite. After packing up, begin the return camel ride or continue to the vehicle pickup point, depending on the selected route. You will then be driven back to Jaisalmer.

How long is the camel ride?
The riding duration varies by route, but guests generally ride in the late afternoon and again the following morning. Breaks are included for comfort.
