Your experience begins near Amer Fort, where you will meet the elephant and its mahout before the ride. The mahout will introduce you to the animal, explain basic commands and share insights into the traditional relationship between elephants and their caretakers.
After a short safety briefing, board the elephant from the designated platform and begin the ride along the approved route towards Amer Fort. Travel at a gentle pace while enjoying views of the fort’s impressive ramparts, historic gateways and surrounding Aravalli landscape. The duration and route may vary according to local regulations, crowd levels, weather and the elephant’s condition.
After the ride, spend time interacting with the mahout and learning more about the elephant’s routine, food, temperament and care. Guests may take photographs from a respectful distance, subject to instructions from the mahout.
An elephant-feeding session can be added at an additional cost. Suitable food is provided under supervision, allowing guests to enjoy a closer interaction before the experience concludes near Amer Fort.
